175 injured in Arad and Dimona following Iran’s missile attacks
Jerusalem, March 22 (Hibya) - Israeli authorities announced that a total of 175 people were injured in missile attacks carried out by Iran on Saturday evening in the southern cities of Arad and Dimona.
According to CCTV, 115 people were injured in the attack on the city of Arad alone, marking the highest number of injuries in a single attack since the clashes began on February 28.
Official data indicated that 9 of the injured are in critical condition, and rescue teams continued search operations under the rubble until the early hours of Sunday morning.
Israeli Police Spokesperson Dean Elsdunne stated that the damaged buildings were searched floor by floor and bomb disposal experts were dispatched to the area to clear unexploded ordnance.
It was reported that extensive material damage occurred in civilian residential areas following the attack, and security forces warned residents to remain cautious of hazardous debris as debris removal operations continue.
