Araghchi reacts to expulsion of diplomats
Tehran, October 4 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that Iranian diplomats who attended the United Nations General Assembly meetings had left the country and commented on the expulsion of the diplomats.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced that the Iranian diplomats who attended the United Nations General Assembly meetings had left the country as planned, with the exception of one person.
Araghchi expressed his discomfort over the expulsion of the diplomats being presented as the “expulsion of fake diplomats.” Araghchi said: “Boasting about this is not appropriate for the head of any diplomatic service. This approach gives an impression of desperation and defeat and is incompatible with the obligations of the country hosting the United Nations.”
