Bulgaria is preparing a National Industrial Strategy through 2035
Sofia, July 28 (Hibya) - Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Levent Memiş announced that the analytical phase carried out under the National Industrial Strategy has been completed and that work has moved to the preparation of the strategy document that will guide the development of industry through 2035.
Within the framework of a project implemented under the European Commission's Technical Support Instrument, the manufacturing and mining sectors were analyzed. Increasing industrial competitiveness, technological modernization, digital transformation, the sustainable use of resources, and the development of human capital were identified as key priorities.
Memiş said, "We hope today's analysis will serve as the foundation of the National Industrial Strategy." The meeting also addressed the next steps in preparing the strategy document.
