Dutch Prime Minister Schoof visits Bengaluru
Bengaluru, February 20 (Hibya) - As part of his visit to India, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof toured innovation centers in Bengaluru and examined AI-powered healthcare and transportation projects on site.
After his official engagements in New Delhi, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof traveled to Bengaluru for a series of visits.
Referring to the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare services, Prime Minister Schoof said, “It was a fascinating preview of how artificial intelligence can improve the quality of healthcare services in the future.”
Regarding systems developed to address the city’s heavy traffic, Schoof stated, “The city’s roads are busy and difficult to navigate, but AI-powered solutions help improve traffic flow.”
At the final stop of his visit, Schoof met with deep-tech initiatives at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), saying, “Here, I met with six Indian deep-tech start-ups that showed me their innovations, ranging from unmanned aerial systems to AI-powered stethoscopes and medical furniture adapted for people with disabilities. They were all very impressive.”
