Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul met with Icelandic Foreign Minister Þórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir in Kiel.

During the meeting, the parties discussed maritime security in the North Atlantic region, strengthening NATO’s collective defense capabilities, and coordination within the Alliance.

Wadephul highlighted Iceland’s strategic role in the North Atlantic and Baltic regions, stressing that maritime security is of critical importance for NATO.

Pointing to the importance of maintaining support for Ukraine, Wadephul stated that the common stance of Allied countries constitutes NATO’s fundamental strength.

The meeting took place at a time when diplomatic contacts among Allied nations have intensified ahead of the NATO Summit.
