IDF: Terrorist unit that fired an anti-tank missile in southern Lebanon neutralized
Tel Aviv, March 25 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that during a targeted ground operation in southern Lebanon, a Hezbollah-affiliated group that fired an anti-tank missile at the 401st Brigade was neutralized in a counter-operation.
The Israel Defense Forces shared updated information regarding ongoing ground activities in southern Lebanon.
According to the details of the operation, militants identified in the area fired an anti-tank missile at security forces. In response, IDF forces opened ground fire and neutralized the unit on site.
It was reported that a combat officer was lightly injured during the clash, was taken to the hospital for treatment, and his family was informed.
In its statement, the IDF said: "The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act forcefully against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which operates under the patronage of the Iranian regime and has chosen to participate in the campaign, and will not allow harm to come to the citizens of the State of Israel."
