Lahbib: The EU continues to stand by you at every step of the recovery process
Brussels, February 6 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib issued a statement on the anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes.
European Commissioner Hadja Lahbib released a message of solidarity on the anniversary of the devastating earthquakes that struck Türkiye and Syria.
Commemorating the victims of the disaster and reflecting on the process, Lahbib said: “Today marks the anniversary of the devastating earthquakes that hit Türkiye and Syria and caused the loss of many lives. Despite the losses, during my visits and meetings with survivors, I witnessed extraordinary resilience.”
Highlighting the European Union’s support capacity, Lahbib concluded her statement by saying: “The EU continues to stand by you and support you at every step of the recovery process.”
