Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov hosted Brunei Darussalam’s Second Foreign Minister Erywan Yusof in Moscow.

Lavrov stated that they had begun exchanging views in an informal setting the previous day regarding current international developments, noting that the challenging processes in global politics affect all states, including countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Emphasizing that this situation makes it necessary and timely to maintain dialogue on all issues between friendly countries such as Russia and Brunei, Lavrov added that this year also carries significance for bilateral relations between the two countries.
