Leyen: EU is ready to invest in regional connectivity
Brussels, May 16 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU is ready to invest in regional connectivity to bring the entire region closer to one another and to the Union.
President von der Leyen stated that together with European Council President Antonio Costa, they congratulated the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the signing of a peace agreement.
She emphasized that the agreement is a major step forward, adding: “We look forward to its swift signing. The EU is ready to invest in regional connectivity and to bring the whole region closer to each other and to our Union.”
