Mixed performance in Asia-Pacific stock markets
Istanbul, October 27 (Hibya) - Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose by 1.92 percent, while Australia's ASX 200 gained 0.54 percent. Stock markets in India, Hong Kong and China recorded modest declines.
Major stock indices across Asia-Pacific markets showed mixed performance.
Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose by 1,196.64 points to 63,386.29 points, gaining 1.92 percent. Australia's ASX 200 index increased by 47.80 points to 8,857.70 points, representing a gain of 0.54 percent.
India's Nifty 50 index declined by 13.15 points to 22,740.05 points, losing 0.06 percent.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell by 31.41 points to 23,180.40 points, a decline of 0.14 percent. China's Shanghai Composite index also dropped by 4.937 points to 3,692.583 points, recording a loss of 0.13 percent.
