Netanyahu: These elections are decisive for our future
Jerusalem, October 18 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu argued that the upcoming elections would be decisive for the country's future and called on voters to head to the polls.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the upcoming elections, stating that he had met with citizens during visits across the country and listened to their concerns and demands.
Netanyahu said he had witnessed citizens' concerns about the country's future and their desire for a strong, secure and prosperous Israel. "Your love gives me strength, and I am determined to continue working for you," he said.
Arguing that the elections were critical to the country's future, Netanyahu said, "These elections are decisive for our future: It is either the right or Palestine."
Referring to what he viewed as the political alternative, Netanyahu stated, "It is either our strong right-wing government or a left-wing government that Eisenkot would form with the Arab parties, Yair Golan, Lieberman and Bennett."
Noting that US President Donald Trump had two years remaining in his term, Netanyahu argued that this period presented an opportunity to complete important objectives on all fronts.
Claiming that the election race was neck and neck, Netanyahu said, "To win, love and support must translate into votes at the ballot box."
Netanyahu urged citizens to speak with their families and friends and cast their votes, saying, "Together we will win. For our children, for our future, for the State of Israel."
