Pakistan and Canada to enhance trade and investment cooperation
Islamabad, July 20 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed strengthening trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries during a meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand.

Dar said the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in priority sectors, including education, energy, mining, agriculture, infrastructure, and information technology.
The two sides also agreed to sign a new protocol on the import of Canadian canola, continue negotiations on the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Foreign Investments, and encourage Canadian companies to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
