Pakistan and Russia emphasize cooperation in combating terrorism
Islamabad, June 23 (Hibya) - The 12th meeting of the Pakistan-Russia Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism was held in Islamabad.
A Joint Working Group meeting on Counter-Terrorism between Pakistan and Russia was held.
During the meeting, terrorism threats originating from Afghanistan and regional security issues were discussed, while the Pakistani side stressed that “Afghan territory should not be used for terrorist activities against any country.”
The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts and announced that the next meeting will be held in Moscow next year.
