Pezeshkian: The Strait of Hormuz is open to everyone except those who violate our territory
Tehran, March 22 (Hibya) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a message of determination against attacks by Israel and its allies, stating that plans to destroy Iran are an "illusion" and emphasizing that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open only to those who respect its sovereignty.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made a statement following escalating military tensions in the region and recent airstrikes targeting strategic locations in Tehran.
Highlighting Iran’s historical depth and resilience, Pezeshkian said: "The illusion of wiping Iran off the map reflects helplessness against the will of a nation that makes history. Threats and terror only strengthen our unity."
Referring to control over the Strait of Hormuz, which is critical for global energy supply, President Pezeshkian stated: "The Strait of Hormuz is open to everyone except those who violate our territory."
Pezeshkian summarized his country’s stance against the attacks with the following words:
"We confront reckless threats on the battlefield with determination. Iran will continue to stand firm and defend its honor."
