Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovic met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India’s capital, New Delhi.

Plenkovic stated that “excellent political relations” have been built between the two countries and noted that trade volume increased by 10 percent in the first 11 months of 2025. He added that cooperation is aimed to be developed in various areas, particularly logistics and maritime transport, digital transformation, defense and security.

The meeting also addressed Croatia’s priorities within the framework of its presidency of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) and EUMED9. Plenkovic stated that Croatia, as a Mediterranean gateway to Central Europe, holds a unique position in establishing a connection between 3SI and the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC).

The parties also welcomed the trade agreement signed between the European Union and India, which will create a free trade area covering one quarter of the world’s population.

Plenkovic’s visit took place within the framework of the “India AI Impact Summit 2026” held in India. It was reported that the summit will address the role of artificial intelligence in shaping today’s world.
