Putin: The fundamental solution to the Palestinian issue is an independent Palestinian state
Moscow, June 7 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that due to developments surrounding Iran, the Palestinian issue has received less attention on the international agenda, but the problem remains unresolved.
In a statement shared by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Putin said, "In the shadow of developments around Iran, the Palestinian tragedy may have disappeared from the headlines, but it has not disappeared."
Emphasizing that Russia's position on the Palestinian issue has not changed, Putin stated, "Russia's position is clear; the only fundamental solution is the establishment of a fully-fledged Palestinian State."
