Qatar holds consultation meeting on National Human Rights Action Plan
Doha, April 29 (Hibya) – According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State of Qatar continues to hold high-level consultation meetings to shape the 2026–2030 National Human Rights Action Plan aimed at judicial reform and alignment with international standards.
The statement highlighted that the latest meeting in the process, led by Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, was held on Wednesday and hosted by President of the Supreme Judicial Council and Court of Cassation Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Mohannadi.
It was noted that discussions focused on strengthening coordination among national institutions and aligning legislation and public policies with global human rights frameworks.
