Saar: The new ambassador will strengthen Israel-Germany relations
Jerusalem, March 22 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar criticized the current German ambassador, saying he struggles to condemn attacks against Israelis, and stated that the new ambassador will strengthen relations.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar said that German Ambassador Seibert raises the Palestinian issue while condemning attacks against Israel, and that this even prevents him from condemning the killing of a Jew by a Palestinian.
In a statement on social media, Saar said: «Seibert finds it very difficult to condemn attacks against Israelis and always brings up Palestinians while doing so. He has an obsession with Jews in Judea and Samaria that even prevents him from condemning the death of a Jewish person».
The minister also stated that a new ambassador who will strengthen Israel-Germany relations will soon take office, adding that this development will be positive for bilateral ties.
