Washington, July 27 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump said regarding the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Türkiye, "No one can tell me what I can or cannot sell. Türkiye is a very important ally."
U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the potential sale of F-35 fighter jets to Türkiye.
After being reminded of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reported opposition to the sale of F-35 aircraft to Türkiye, Trump said, "No one can tell me what I can or cannot sell. Türkiye is a very important ally."
Trump's remarks came at a time when discussions over possible developments regarding Türkiye's participation in the F-35 program continue. He did not announce any new decision or timetable regarding the sale of F-35 aircraft.
