Trump: Schumer thinks Republicans will end the filibuster
Washington, March 26 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump criticized Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, arguing that Republicans should abolish the "filibuster" rule regardless of whether a deal is reached.
US President Donald Trump spoke about legislative processes in the Senate and Chuck Schumer.
Speaking about Schumer’s political position, Trump said: "Chuck Schumer, a desperate and crippled politician who has lost control of the Radical Left Democrats, now wants to make a deal because he thinks that if he doesn’t, Republicans will end the filibuster."
Arguing that the filibuster rule should be completely abolished, Trump said: "Ending the filibuster is something they should do regardless of whether he makes a deal or not."
