Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that he met with Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mauro Vieira.

Sybiha stated that they exchanged views on recent international developments, including the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, and noted that he informed Vieira about the situation in Ukraine and the diplomatic efforts being carried out to end the war.

Minister Sybiha said the following:

"I emphasized that Brazil can play an important role in contributing to peace efforts. We also discussed ways to develop our bilateral relations and Ukraine’s interest in strengthening its ties with Latin American countries."
