Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha’s Brussels engagements
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with his counterparts during the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting held in Belgium’s capital, Brussels.
Minister Sybiha announced that he briefed the Republic of Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the outcomes of Ukraine–U.S. talks, peace efforts, and the current frontline situation.
He stated that Ukraine desires peace more than anyone and proves it through concrete actions:
“On the other hand, Russia refused to respond, showing that it is the sole obstacle to peace. We discussed Türkiye’s vital role in ensuring peace and security in the Black Sea region and in future security architecture.”
Sybiha also noted that he met with Luxembourg’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade Exchange, and Humanitarian Action Cooperation, Xavier Bettel:
“I thanked Luxembourg for its support of Ukraine. We discussed additional assistance, including major humanitarian projects initiated by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska. I also invited my counterpart to visit Ukraine at an appropriate time.”
