US: Memorial Day is a day to remember those who never came home

According to a statement shared by the White House Rapid Response account in the United States, the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs spoke ahead of the “Freedom 250” Memorial Day commemoration to be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
The Secretary stated that Memorial Day is “a day of remembrance for those who never made it home,” adding that the event would be very special in telling the stories of fallen service members and honoring them.
