Wever: Our freedoms bow to neither violence nor fear
Brussels, July 26 (Hibya) - Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever expressed his condolences to the families of those killed following the attack in Berlin, stressing that freedom cannot be overcome by violence or fear.

De Wever said that an event held to celebrate freedom in Berlin had turned into a scene of mourning, expressing his support for the families of those who lost their lives and for those injured in the attack.
Expressing solidarity with the rainbow community across Europe, De Wever said, "Our freedoms bow to neither violence nor fear. The freedom to be ourselves is a hard-won right, and we will always defend it."
