Zakharova: UK's uranium supply to Ukraine should be carried out under safety measures
Moscow, June 24 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on the United Kingdom’s supply of enriched uranium to Ukraine for nuclear power plants.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova spoke about the United Kingdom’s supply of enriched uranium to Ukraine for nuclear power plants.
Zakharova stated that the supply in question should be regarded as low-enriched uranium intended for nuclear power plants in Ukraine and should not be associated with a “dirty bomb.”
Zakharova said, “It must be supplied under the mandatory safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency.”
