Zakharova: We welcome the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran
Moscow, April 8 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that they welcome the ceasefire agreement reached between the United States and Iran, emphasizing the need for a serious negotiation process to achieve a lasting solution.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made assessments regarding the latest diplomatic steps taken to reduce tensions in the region, as well as the ceasefire agreement that was reached.
Describing the ceasefire decision as a positive development, Zakharova said, "We welcome the ceasefire agreement reached between the United States and Iran."
Drawing attention to the next stages of the process and the final goals, Zakharova stated, "Serious negotiations now await us in order to reach a final resolution of the conflict. The outcome must ensure that such military crises never occur again."
