Zelensky: Security and defense cooperation with Estonia has been strengthened
Kyiv, June 9 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that cooperation with Estonia in the fields of security and defense has been strengthened. In a statement regarding his meeting with Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal, Zelensky said that an important step had been taken between the two countries.

Commenting on the meeting, Zelensky noted that he had presented a state decoration to the Estonian Prime Minister, saying: “During the meeting, I awarded the Prime Minister the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, Second Class.”
Referring to the joint declaration signed between the two countries, Zelensky said: “We signed the Joint Declaration on Enhanced Security and Defense Cooperation. This document covers areas such as the exchange of experience, defense industry cooperation, and air defense.” He also added: “We continue to work on an agreement in the Drone Deal format.”
Zelensky also highlighted Estonia’s support for Ukraine, stating: “We highly value Estonia’s contributions to the PURL initiative.” It was also reported that increasing sanctions against Russia and Ukraine’s European Union membership process were discussed during the meeting.
