Zelensky: We expect the Middle East to become safer and more stable
Kyiv, February 28 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that they expect the Middle East region to eventually become safer and more stable, and that they are ready to help every country increase security and justice while reducing terrorist regimes.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that events in the Middle East and the Gulf region are developing at an extremely fast pace, and that Ukraine knows very well what this means.
Although Ukrainians have never threatened Iran, Zelensky pointed out that the Iranian regime has become Putin's "partner in crime," supplying him with Shahed drones. “Iran not only provided the drones themselves but also the technology for their production. Iran also supplied Russia with other weapons. Throughout this total war, Russia has used more than 57,000 Shahed-type drones against the Ukrainian people, cities, and energy infrastructure,” said Zelensky.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine's position is well known and they have repeatedly expressed it, including recently, and added:
“It is important to save as many lives as possible. It is important to prevent the spread of war. It is important for the United States to act with determination. When the United States is determined, global criminals weaken. This understanding must also reach the Russians. In the end, we expect the Middle East region to become safer and more stable. A lot has already changed toward this goal.”
Zelensky concluded: “Ukraine is ready to help every country increase security and justice and reduce terrorist regimes.”
