Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expressed his pleasure at meeting young people visiting Canberra as part of the National Youth Parliament program and emphasized the importance of youth participation in democratic processes.

Describing meetings with young people as inspiring, Albanese said: "It's always inspiring to meet young Australians who want to make our country a better place."

Referring to the meaning of civic participation and democracy, Prime Minister Albanese said: "Because every voice from every corner of our country helps shape Australia's future."

Albanese concluded: "And for these students in the National Youth Parliament program, this visit to Canberra and to the heart of our democracy is very special."
