Albares: We strongly condemn Iran’s missile attack against Türkiye
Madrid, March 4 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares held a phone call with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan.
Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Albares spoke with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, expressing Spain’s solidarity with the Turkish government and the Turkish people following the missile launches by Iran and strongly condemning this attack.
Albares stated that Spain reiterates its call for de-escalation in the Middle East, saying: “Spain reiterates its call for lowering tensions in the Middle East and returning to diplomatic negotiations.”
Albares also emphasized that all parties must respect international law, stating: “We call on all parties to respect international law. We are working for peace.”
