Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei referred to the story of Siavash in the Shahnameh, who was killed in the struggle between Iran and Turan, and said that throughout history some of the dead have been remembered more powerfully than the living.

Baqaei said, “Siavash was killed, but the voice of his blood was never silenced in the Shahnameh.” He also quoted from the work: “A cry will rise from Iran and Turan; the world will be shaken by the spilling of my blood.”

Baqaei described Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as “Iran’s eternal enemy” and the “Butcher of Gaza,” and claimed that most of those present in the hall left when Netanyahu took the podium at the United Nations.

Baqaei said that before leaving, the Iranian delegation left behind an image evoking General Qassem Soleimani, adding that this was intended to shake Netanyahu’s mind and demonstrate the fragility of the “spider web” woven from his ambitions.
