Belarusian Foreign Minister Ryzhenkov pays official visit to Tanzania
Minsk, April 28 (Hibya) – Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov will pay an official visit to Tanzania to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov arrived in Tanzania as part of a three-day official working visit.
In a statement regarding the purpose of the visit, it was said: “The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Tanzania and Belarus and increase economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest.”
As part of the visit, which took place at the invitation of Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Ryzhenkov was welcomed at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by Tanzania’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Dr. Ngwaru Maghembe and Belarus’ Ambassador to Tanzania Dzmitry Krausouski.
As part of the visit program, Ryzhenkov is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his counterpart Kombo on April 28 and meet with various government officials.
