Budrys: Lithuania supports a ceasefire in Gaza and a two-state solution
Ramallah, 17 June (Hibya) - Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys met with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said he held talks with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin.
Budrys stated that Lithuania supports the full implementation of the Gaza peace plan and expressed his view that Hamas must be disarmed and excluded from governance.
Calling for full humanitarian access, respect for international law, a sustainable ceasefire, and a two-state solution, Budrys said: “We call for full humanitarian access, respect for international law, a sustainable ceasefire and a two-state solution. We are also ready to deepen cooperation in reforms, digital transformation and recovery.”
