Brussels, May 8 (Hibya) - Ursula von der Leyen congratulated Rumen Radev, emphasizing that there is a broad cooperation agenda between the European Union and Bulgaria ranging from security to energy.
von der Leyen published a message regarding political developments in Bulgaria and congratulated Rumen Radev.
In her statement, von der Leyen said that during a period of deep geopolitical changes, the European Union and Bulgaria share a common working agenda. She stated that many issues, ranging from security and defense to economic competitiveness, from energy independence to strategic cooperation, are among the priorities.
The President of the European Commission emphasized that the European Union and Bulgaria will continue to act together, saying: “We move forward together, for Bulgaria and for Europe.”
