Drawing attention to the fact that the European Union and its member states will mobilize up to 800 billion euros in defense spending by 2028, Costa said, “We are investing in achieving a lasting peace based on international law, respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and the principles of the United Nations Charter – both in Ukraine and in Greenland.”
