Costa: We agreed on a clear action plan to boost Europe’s competitiveness
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa stated that a comprehensive action plan aimed at increasing Europe’s global competitiveness and strategic autonomy was adopted at the latest council meeting.
European Council President Antonio Costa made statements regarding the strategic efforts carried out on the Union’s economic resilience and its position in a changing global order.
Explaining the purpose of the agreement reached in the Council, Costa said: "At our latest European Council, we agreed on a clear action plan to boost Europe’s competitiveness and help our Union become more resilient and autonomous in a rapidly changing world."
Emphasizing that the implementation phase has begun, Costa added: "Our focus is now on delivery. In the coming months, we will turn our commitments into real progress with clear steps and ambitious timelines."
