Duda: Elections are the foundation of democracy that guarantees rights
Warsaw, May 16 (Hibya) – Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that elections are the foundation of democracy that guarantees the rights of all citizens, urging Poles to vote.
President Duda emphasized that they face an extremely important decision, saying: “By electing the president, we are not only choosing a head of state; we are also deciding the direction Poland will take.”
He added that the people are choosing a guardian who will speak clearly and protect the sovereignty and security of the state, saying:
“Poland’s goals, dignity, and ambitions are rooted in a history of over a thousand years. Elections are the foundation of democracy that guarantees the rights of all citizens. That’s why, as President, I urge you: Let’s go vote.”
Duda stated: “The higher the turnout, the stronger the democratic mandate of the new president, and the stronger the Republic of Poland will be.”
