Dutch Prime Minister Jetten sends condolences to Norway
Amsterdam, August 28 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten extended his condolences to the Norwegian people and the Royal Family following the death of Norway’s King Harald V.
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said in a statement that the death of King Harald V was a great loss for Norway. Jetten stated that Harald V had served his country with love for more than 35 years.
Jetten said Harald V would be remembered as a monarch with great devotion to the Norwegian people, adding that the king was always someone who sought connection and adapted to the spirit of the times.
Jetten said the warm ties between the Netherlands and Norway, as well as the special friendship between the Dutch Royal Family and the Norwegian Royal Family, would be remembered with gratitude. The Dutch Prime Minister said that, on behalf of the government, he had conveyed his condolences to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and wished the Norwegian Royal Family and the people of Norway strength during this sad time.
