The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory have recently been detected.

In a statement, the IDF said that defense systems are working to intercept the threat. It also noted that in recent minutes, the Home Front Command has sent direct alerts to mobile phones in the relevant areas. The statement said:

"The public is requested to act responsibly and follow the instructions, as this saves lives. After receiving the alert, you must enter protected areas and remain there until further notice. Leaving the protected area will only be possible after receiving clear instructions. You must continue to follow the directives of the Home Front Command."
