Iran allows 20 Pakistan-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz
Islamabad, March 28 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar welcomed the initiative, stating that the daily passage of two ships would contribute to regional peace and stability.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar announced that the Iranian government has allowed 20 Pakistan-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, noting that two ships will transit the strait daily.
Dar described this positive step as “a harbinger of peace,” emphasizing that it will contribute to regional stability and highlighting the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and confidence-building measures.
