Israel issues statement on its history of immigration and refugees
Jerusalem, June 20 (Hibya) - Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement regarding the integration process of Jewish immigrants who arrived from different regions during the country's founding years.
According to the statement issued by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Holocaust survivors, Jews who left Arab countries, and Jews from Ethiopia and the Soviet Union immigrated to Israel. Rather than remaining in refugee status, these individuals were granted citizenship and integrated into Israeli society.
The statement described the process as “a success story” and also included an image of Jewish refugees who were transported from Yemen to Israel.
