Israel: It is not surprising that the Palestinian Authority and Hamas go hand in hand
Tel Aviv, July 22 (Hibya) – Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a written statement regarding Palestinian Authority Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh's congratulatory message to Hamas' new leadership.
In a statement released by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that Palestinian Authority Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh congratulated Khalil al-Hayya on assuming the leadership of Hamas.
The statement alleged that Khalil al-Hayya was among those who played a role in the October 7 attacks and also included assessments regarding contacts between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
