Israeli army strikes bridges used for military transport in Iran
Jerusalem, April 7 (Hibya) - The Israeli army announced that it targeted 8 bridge sections in various Iranian cities allegedly used for transporting weapons and military equipment.
The IDF announced that it carried out strikes on bridge crossings said to be used for military shipments in Iran.
The statement said that 8 bridge sections located in different areas, including Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Kashan, and Qom, used by armed elements affiliated with the Iranian regime to transport weapons and military equipment, were targeted.
It was claimed that these crossings were used in activities against Israel and other countries in the Middle East.
The statement noted that the strikes were carried out to prevent the use of these routes for military transportation.
It was also stated that prior warnings were issued to reduce the risk of civilian casualties, precision munitions were used, and aerial surveillance was conducted.
The Israeli army said operations against infrastructure used for military purposes by Iran-linked armed elements will continue.
