Israeli Foreign Ministry supports New Zealand's decision on UNRWA
Jerusalem, November 1 (Hibya) - Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding New Zealand's decision to suspend financial support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described New Zealand's decision as joining the countries that have halted funding to UNRWA. The statement included allegations that members of terrorist organizations had infiltrated the agency and that it had links to Hamas.
In its statement, the Israeli Foreign Ministry also called on other countries to take similar steps, saying, "Terrorism should never be funded under the guise of humanitarian assistance."
