Lahbib: Great leaders act before disasters strike
Brussels, April 16 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib emphasized the importance of preparedness and cooperation in her assessment of her meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
European Commissioner Hadja Lahbib, referring to preparedness for crises, said: “Great leaders act before disasters strike.”
In her message of thanks following her meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, Lahbib said: “Thank you Prime Minister Petteri Orpo for the great conversation and for your outstanding leadership on preparedness and gender equality.”
Assessing Finland’s approach, Lahbib said: “Finland adopts a comprehensive approach that covers all risks and includes the entire society and the state. In this way, we are building a safer Europe.”
