Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva assessed the country's economic and social developments.

Lula said they had created more jobs, that the minimum wage had once again recorded real growth above inflation after years, and that the unemployment rate had reached the lowest level in the country's history.

Lula also said the Pe-de-Meia program had been launched to support millions of young people in continuing their education.

The Brazilian president said that as of 2026, income tax had been reduced to zero for those earning up to 5,000 reais, adding that the future means employment, wages, education, health and opportunities for the people.

Lula said, “Brazil has shown it can move forward and is ready to go even further.”
