Macron holds phone call with Barzani
Paris, March 7 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani following the recent attacks in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, stating that efforts to prevent the regional conflict from spreading will continue.
French President Macron emphasized France’s commitment to the stability and security of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. During the phone call with President Nechirvan Barzani, Macron expressed his solidarity in the face of the recent attacks.
During the conversation, it was agreed that joint efforts would continue to prevent the conflict from spreading throughout the region. Macron thanked Barzani for his commitment to this issue.
France stated that it will continue to support ensuring full respect for the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
