Merz meets French President Emmanuel Macron
Berlin, 15 June (Hibya) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Évian, France.
Merz stated on social media that he and Macron took important decisions for a strong Europe. He emphasized that the friendship between Germany and France is more valuable than ever and that cooperation between the two countries is of great importance for Europe’s future.
During the meeting in Évian, various items on Europe’s agenda were discussed, with messages highlighting continued cooperation between Germany and France through joint decisions.
