In her statement, Metsola noted that San Francisco hosts many Europeans and European Union companies. As part of her meetings in the city, Metsola met with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and stated that they discussed technology, trade, and transatlantic relations during their talks.
European Parliament President Metsola thanked Mayor Lurie for the warm welcome and productive meetings.
