Miliband sends message of support to Nepal
London, August 27 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband expressed solidarity and support for Nepal following the disaster in the country.
UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband said he had spoken with Nepalese Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and conveyed the United Kingdom's solidarity and condolences over the disaster in the country.
Miliband said he thanked Khanal for the efforts of the Nepalese government in supporting British citizens in the region.
Miliband said he had offered financial assistance, search and rescue support and other aid to support the disaster response, adding that the United Kingdom would do everything it could to help Nepal during these difficult days.
